30mm Flat Glazing Packers

30mm Flat Glazing Packers are designed for installers who need a wider support face when setting glass units into window and door frames. Their 30mm width gives more contact area than narrower flat packers, making them useful for deeper rebates, larger sealed units and installations where added stability is important.

Each packer measures 30mm × 100mm and provides firm, consistent support beneath the glass. The flat profile helps spread weight evenly, reducing movement, rattling and unnecessary pressure on seals or glass edges.

Made from rigid polypropylene, these packers hold their thickness under load and are suitable for internal and external glazing work. The colour-coded thicknesses make it easy to select the right size quickly on site.

Choosing the right thickness:

5mm – Used for larger gaps or heavier units requiring firmer support.

6mm – The largest standard thickness in this range, ideal for deeper spacing or greater height correction.

Installer note:

Use the smallest thickness that achieves a level, secure fit. For finer adjustment, packers can be combined, but they should always be positioned to support the unit evenly and avoid pressure points.
